112. Revenge!

Sera's feet began to glow with the light of a magic circle as she quickly chanted a spell in the language of dragons.

Lucia, however, did not move, her hands resting on her ample chest, simply watching her sister use magic.

"Summoning spell! Golem Giant!"

As the chant of the summoning spell was completed, the light of the magic circle intensified, and a golem giant appeared.

"Do you plan to use summoning magic to fight, Sera?" Lucia was clearly somewhat disappointed.

"Of course, sister. This golem giant is specialized in defense, and its strength is not to be underestimated. It's specifically designed to target you."

Then, Sera waved her hand towards Lucia.

"Go, Golem Giant!"

The golem giant began to move, the magic crystals on its body flickered, and with a shake of its arms, it stirred up a fierce wind.

Then, with its massive body, it leaped into the air, bearing down on Lucia like a mountain.

"Sister, I told you this is a defense-specialized type, you can't hit it," Sera reminded.

But in Lucia's eyes, there was clearly no trace of fear, as if the golem giant summoned by Sera was nothing more than a toy.

The giant's force crashed down on Lucia.

Yet, facing such a colossal being, Lucia stood her ground, easily bearing the weight, and from her effortless expression, it didn't seem hard at all.

"After all, it's just a bit more durable."

Lucia managed to topple the golem giant to the ground.

What followed was an exaggeration.

Lucia actually grabbed the golem giant that had fallen to the ground, leaped up with it, and it was hard to imagine that her strength could be so exaggerated.

A huge shadow was cast as Lucia, pushing the golem giant, smashed it directly onto her sister.

"Sister, you…!" Sera was pinned under the golem giant.

"Less talk, Sera, I said I would teach you a lesson today, and I meant it!"

Standing atop the golem giant, Lucia raised her fists, her red eyes emitting a faint glow, a sign of activating her red dragon bloodline.

Then, dragon flames began to wrap around her fists.

Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom!

Lucia's fists fell like raindrops, densely hitting the golem giant, with the power of cannonballs, each attack producing a loud noise.

Punch after punch!

She shattered the body of the golem giant, and the flames, through the cracks, poured into the core of the golem giant, igniting its core. Before the energy burst, she leaped out of the blast radius.

Boom——!!

The golem giant exploded, and the flames that shot into the sky illuminated Lucia's face.

If it were an ordinary dragon, after such an attack, it would probably lose half its life on the spot.

However——

Lucia focused her gaze and saw a maid's figure gradually walking out of the raging flames.

Sera, bathed in flames, stepped forward.

She looked somewhat disheveled.

But that was all, just disheveled. Sera was not seriously harmed, instead, she began to laugh.

Her smile was completely different from usual, sharp and eager for battle.

It was as if a long-suppressed nature had been released.

Seeing the change in her sister, Lucia was not surprised, but rather nostalgic.

"Sister, how long has it been since we fought like this?" Sera asked.

"It's hard to say, in our childhood memories, we always fought like this," Lucia said, "thinking of beating each other to death."

Lucia and Sera are blood-related sisters.

Lucia is the older sister.

Sera is the younger sister.

Although the two are sisters, they do not share the same mother.

But the two did not get along well, always looking at each other with displeasure, constantly fighting.

Since childhood, the two have been like this.

Later on, as the sisters grew up a bit, their relationship did not improve, but the fights became even more intense.

Lucia and Sera formed different factions, becoming leaders of opposing forces.

In plain terms——

They were like two gang leaders, leading their own followers, engaging in gang warfare.

Sera thought that there would definitely be a winner between the two sisters, thinking of overthrowing her own sister.

Not for anything else, just from the simple desire to win that had been there since childhood.

But one day, Lucia disappeared.

Sera was very surprised, searched everywhere, but could not find Lucia's whereabouts, even Lucia's followers did not know where their leader had gone.

Just like that, several years passed.

During these years, Sera found herself bored and empty, as if she had lost her life's purpose.

Eventually, Sera's father came from the countryside to visit his daughter.

Unable to hold back, Sera told her father that Lucia had gone missing.

Upon hearing this, Sera's father burst into laughter and said, "Your sister stopped being involved in that life long ago. She's gone to the Dragon Palace and found a proper job. She's now a member of the Royal Maid Corps!"

Sera was shocked and couldn't accept it. She hadn't settled the score with her sister, and Lucia had just left.

So, Sera also went to the Dragon Palace, seeking an explanation from her sister.

When she found Lucia, she was no longer the imposing leader she once was but was now dressed as a maid in black silk.

Sera demanded an explanation from Lucia for running away.

But Lucia had only one thing to say—

"Hmph, foolish little sister."

After that, Lucia paid no more attention to Sera.

Sera was broken, but there was nothing she could do. She couldn't enter the Dragon Palace, so she returned to her own territory.

She couldn't calm down, growing more and more resentful, and one day, she too walked away from it all. After disbanding her followers, she headed to the Dragon Palace and chose to join the Royal Maid Corps.

Becoming a member of the Royal Maid Corps wasn't easy. She forcibly changed her fiery temper, learned many household chores she was never good at, and after being trained by her seniors for a long time, she finally qualified and became an official member.

After getting a formal job, Sera, remembering the days when she led her followers and thought she was unbeatable, felt a wave of shame. It was all a dark history, childish and foolish, and she didn't want to mention it again.

No wonder her sister had called her a foolish little sister…

After both sisters became members of the Royal Maid Corps, their relationship improved significantly. Outsiders could never imagine that they used to fight to the death as children.

But well.

Some things, though pressed deep down, never completely disappear.

The unresolved competitive desires of the past resurfaced in the hearts of the two sisters.

The red dragon sisters exchanged a smile and ran towards each other, both releasing their true dragon forms.

Roar!!!!

Two adult red dragons collided, their massive claws grappling with each other, each trying to overpower the other with their strength, emitting deafening roars.

"…Why is it so noisy outside?"

Xia Lulu felt that something was amiss with the Dragon Palace.

She seemed to hear the roars of dragons in battle, filled with fervor.

Could it be that Lucia and Sera were fighting for some unknown reason?

The Silver Dragon Queen sat up, intending to check on the situation.

At that moment, the window was flung open, and Xia Yi stood on the windowsill, striking a pose.

"Hmm hmm hmm… Xia Lulu, I have arrived! Are you ready to face the invincible Human Sword Saint?"

Xia Lulu asked, "Xia Yi, what are you doing?"

But she quickly understood.

Most likely, the current commotion in the palace had something to do with her daughter.

"Daughter, the situation in the Dragon Palace, it's your doing, isn't it?"

"What do you mean by trouble?!" Xia Yi immediately retorted, "I am implementing a terrifying plan!! It will surely bring you down from your high throne, complete my revenge, and cleanse my humiliation!!"

"Are you still thinking about your revenge?"

Xia Lulu wasn't angry at Xia Yi's sudden interruption; instead, she felt much more relaxed.

"Daughter, since you've caused trouble, you're prepared to accept punishment, right?"

"Ah…?" Xia Yi panicked for a moment, "Don't try to scare me, it won't work on me, don't think I'll be easy to deal with!!"

"The human race has a saying, 'He who is qualified to wield a sword must be prepared to be slain by a sword.' So, what punishment do you choose, broccoli? Bitter gourd juice? Homework? Tail pinching? Confinement… or, dragon mint? Or perhaps, all of them~"

Each thing Xia Lulu mentioned was enough to shake the little princess's spirit.

Especially the 'all of them,' which had already made her tail tremble.

"As the price for being naughty, punishment time has come, daughter."

Xia Lulu quickly got up, her movements as light as a butterfly, reaching out to grab Xia Yi's tail.

Xia Yi gritted her teeth, steeled her resolve, and decided to resist!

She used her combat skills to fend off Xia Lulu's hand.

"This won't scare me off, Xia Lulu, don't forget, I am the resolute Human Sword Saint!" Xia Yi shouted, "I will never fall!!"

Then, the little princess jumped off the windowsill.

"Having a daughter in her rebellious phase is really interesting."

Xia Lulu casually draped on a coat and jumped out of the window, chasing after her.

Her delicate feet landed on the grass, and Xia Lulu landed with balance.

Looking up, she saw Xia Yi using her agility to flee, her movements extremely swift.

With the dragon race's physical enhancement, the Sword Saint's agility honed on the battlefield was even more outstanding.

Xia Yi had pushed her agility to the extreme.

After noting the direction her daughter had fled, Xia Lulu eagerly gave chase.

After some distance, she encountered a strange thing; Xia Yi had disappeared.

Along the way, she came across several magic circles set up in advance to deliberately cause interference. Although she dismantled them quickly, it still took a bit of time.

In that bit of time, Xia Yi had used her agility to escape even further…

It seemed that her mischievous daughter had put some thought into this, it was serious, not a whim.

"Where did she go?"

Xia Lulu looked around, pondering.

Something was strange here; it was pitch black, without a single light, and very quiet, with no other dragons in sight—

Boom!

Xia Lulu heard a sound and instinctively turned in that direction, then she was stunned.

In the night sky, flowers bloomed.

The light of the fireworks fell into her silver eyes.

"…Why?"

Xia Lulu was puzzled.

Then more fireworks soared into the sky, blooming, making the whole world colorful.

She suddenly remembered that it was just past midnight.

She was lost in memories.

Many years ago, when she was small, she had escaped from her role as the star of a banquet and went to her mother's solitary abode.

Because of those things, she fell into depression.

Her mother then gave her a splendid fireworks display as a gift.

At that time, her mother said she hoped that in the future, someone would sincerely want to watch fireworks with her.

She liked fireworks, but they always reminded her of a time she could never return to, so she also hated fireworks.

To avoid that time, not to remember the past.

"It must be… a coincidence," Xia Lulu whispered to herself.

Meanwhile, hidden in a secluded spot and watching everything, Xia Yi waved her little hand excitedly.

It worked!!

I finally succeeded!!!

After planning this wicked scheme for so long, it has finally come to fruition!

Back in the Purple Kite Valley, she had heard from Dorothea that Xia Lulu's favorite thing was fireworks.

Just like her own uncontrollable craving for osmanthus cakes.

Judging from the current situation, the bet was right; Xia Lulu was indeed immersed in the fireworks she had set up in advance.

To avoid drawing attention, she didn't ask her personal maid to buy fireworks but made them all by herself.

Fortunately, during the alchemy lessons, Clay had resolved her doubts, enabling her to make them on her own.

Xia Yi had never seen the Silver Dragon Queen show this side before; this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. She was waiting for this moment to teach this presumptuous person a lesson and wash away her humiliation!

Hmph, who says I have fallen?

Xia Yi was very confident, and most importantly, she still had an even more terrifying ace up her sleeve!

Charge!!

The little princess rushed forward, quickly running towards Xia Lulu.

However, after only a few steps, the fireworks suddenly stopped.

Xia Lulu's gaze shifted from the fireworks above to the ground below, looking towards Xia Yi who was approaching her.

"Xia Yi?"

Oh no!!

Xia Yi inwardly cursed her luck; could there be a problem with the fireworks she made, stopping at such a critical moment!

For a moment, she hesitated.

But the arrow was already on the string and had to be shot; if she backed down now, she would no longer be the resolute Human Sword Saint!

It was time to teach Xia Lulu a lesson, to use her trump card to show her, and then with the most venomous words, to shatter her spirit!

Go for it, the time for revenge has come!

The silver-haired loli's cheeks gradually turned crimson as she walked towards Xia Lulu, a bit embarrassed to look into her eyes, her tail swishing, and she pulled out a small box.

Inside was a cake she had secretly made overnight.
