10. I Managed To Slay A Dragon Once, After Much Difficulty
"Absolutely not! I don't want to become a dragon princess!!"
The silver-haired dragon loli cried out in despair, threw off her covers, and sat up. Her breath was ragged, and she clutched her chest, unable to calm down.
"I think I had a nightmare…"
She had dreamt of something terrifying. She had transformed from a human Sword Saint to a dragon, and had been named "Xia Yi·Christie" by the Silver Dragon Queen Xia Lulu, becoming the Silver Dragon Princess. She had spent all her time clinging to Xia Lulu…
Wait.
Xia Yi's expression froze, and a chill ran down her spine. She lifted her head and looked around.
It was already daylight, and the sunlight streamed into the room. The reflection in the glass was clearly her own. This was not the human Sword Saint Wright.
Oh, so it wasn't a dream. It was reality.
That's fine then.
"…Wah! How can it be fine! Why did this happen, I would rather have died!"
Xia Yi's emotions began to spiral out of control, and she burst into tears.
"Princess, what happened?"
Sera heard Xia Yi's cries and hurriedly pushed open the door to enter the room.
What met the maid's eyes was the little princess sitting on the bed like a duckling. She was clearly in a state of mental collapse, crying her eyes out and constantly wiping at her tears. This fragile appearance could greatly stir up others' protective instincts, making one want to hold her close and comfort her.
The princess's crying figure was so cute!
This was Sera's first thought. She wanted to continue watching, as this scene was truly precious.
Unfortunately, as a member of the royal maid team, she only took a second to engrave this image into her DNA before taking action.
"Princess, did you have a nightmare?" Sera walked over and asked with concern.
"I, I…"
"It's okay, I'm here," Sera gently held Xia Yi's hand. "You don't need to be afraid, Princess. No matter what happens, I will be by your side. After all, you are the only daughter of the Queen, and the Silver Dragon Princess recognized by all of us in the dragon clan."
"Wah!! Wah wah!!"
Sera's intention was to soothe the little princess's emotions, but to her confusion, her words seemed to have the opposite effect. Xia Yi broke down even more, crying harder than before.
Sera couldn't understand what could have possibly been so terrifying in the princess's nightmare to cause such a huge upheaval.
"It's okay, Princess, it's okay…"
Sera chose to embrace Xia Yi, using her broad chest to comfort the silver-haired loli. She softly reassured her, even using a small spell to add a suggestive effect to her voice in order to calm the princess's emotions.
Xia Yi's condition gradually improved. After a good cry, perhaps having vented enough, her emotions finally stabilized.
"Are you okay now, Princess?"
"Yes… Thank you, Sera," Xia Yi nodded in response. "I feel much better."
"Princess, I've never seen you cry so sadly before. What happened to you?"
"Something unexpected happened. I never thought that I would be…"
Xia Yi's words trailed off.
She realized that she had unconsciously accepted Sera's kindness.
This wouldn't do!
Sera was pushed away in refusal.
"Don't, don't call me princess!"
"Princess, what are you saying?"
"I'm not!"
"If you're not the princess, then who could it be?" Sera laughed.
"I'm not, I'm not, stop making things up!!"
Xia Yi rejected Sera's words with a triple denial. She grabbed a pillow from beside her and held it in front of her face, especially her blushing cheeks. She was too embarrassed to face anyone and wished she could turn into a hamster and hide in a hole.
"Princess, don't think about those terrible nightmares. Think about happy things. You have received the Queen's approval. Isn't this what you've been longing for?"
Sera tried to change the subject.
"The Queen… The Silver Dragon Queen, Xia Lulu…?"
"Yes," Sera continued to guide Xia Yi. "She is your mother and the person you admire the most. You've always said that you want to become as excellent as the Queen in the future and have been working towards this goal."
"…"
"Every time you receive praise from the Queen, you are happy for a long time. Even when you talk in your sleep, it's always about the Queen."
"…"
"After all, she is your favorite person. You've been saying this since you were little!" Sera smiled.
The speaker had no intention, but the listener took it to heart.
Sera's words had reached a lethal level of pure damage, causing Xia Yi to completely break down.
Suddenly, many memories resurfaced in her mind.
The Silver Dragon Princess clinging to her mother, wanting to spend more time with the Silver Dragon Queen.
The Silver Dragon Princess acting spoiled in front of her mother, begging her to tell stories.
The Silver Dragon Princess shyly wagging her tail in front of her mother, just wanting her to praise her…
Xia Yi couldn't think any further.
How could she have done such embarrassing things?
It was so humiliating, so humiliating!
What should she do? If others found out that she had done such things in front of her mortal enemy Xia Lulu, how could she continue to live?
That's right, she could make a loud noise to cover it up!
"Wah wah wah!!"
The little princess, who was so embarrassed that she was about to explode, had steam coming out of her head. She turned around, lay down on the bed, and buried her face in the pillow. Her large tail behind her became soft and drooped down.
The only thing she was hoping for now was one thing.
That was for the world to end in the next second, to explode with a bang, and for everyone to be finished together!
Hurry up, God, if there really is a God who can hear, please let this world explode!
Xia Yi screamed in her heart.
"What's wrong with the princess?"
Sera was very confused and didn't know what to do. She tried to communicate with Xia Yi, but it was useless and only made the situation worse.
Was there no solution… Wait, there was!
Sera had thought of a solution and immediately left with a smile.
"I'll leave first, Princess."
"…Wah wah wah…"
Xia Yi continued to bury herself in the pillow. After a while, she didn't hear anyone else's voice, and the room finally quieted down.
Just when she thought she could finally calm down on her own…
The person she least wanted to see appeared.
"My dear daughter, what happened?"
The Silver Dragon Queen, standing at the door, looked curiously at Xia Yi. Standing next to her was Sera.
Xia Yi was stunned.
Why did Sera bring Xia Lulu here?!
Oh nos this is funny
